Domino Pi Control Relay

Hello!

I need to use Domino Pi’s out in the field to turn various equipment on and off using relays. I think I have a basic understanding of how I should wire up my relay module to the domino pi, but I’m not certain. I was hoping someone here could help me.

I assume to control the relay, I would run a command similar to this:

To turn on: /bin/echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/leds-gpio/leds/xxx/brightness

To turn off: /bin/echo 0 > /sys/devices/platform/leds-gpio/leds/xxx/brightness

Here is a wiring diagram of how I think the relay module would be attached to the Domino Pi:

Can someone please tell me if I’m on the right track? And would these commands be correct? If I can get confirmation this will work, I plan to do an in-depth tutorial on the forums if I can get it running.

Also, one last question, is it possible to buy the Domino Pi board on its own as seen in the pinout photo above? I can only find the “Basic Kit” on the GL-Inet web store. (I wouldn’t need the Ethernet board)
