DWM-222 dongle not connecting with GL-MT300N-V2

Hi guys,

I have a Mango (GL-MT300N-V2) and a D-link DWM-222 in my possession, however I am having issues connecting the two.
There is a light on the dongle and tested and proven on windows.
I have updated the firmware to 3.211
I have updated and installed Luci, checked the logs and the dongle is being read.
I have gone through a couple of threads on here and other sites to see if I couldn’t work it out by myself, to no avail.
I don’t really know where to go from here.

Any assistance would be wonderful.

Do you find the dongle as tethering device in the router’s default interface? It maybe like usb0 or eth1.

ssh to the router and get the logs using the following command

logread
ifconfig -a
