Everytime I change the EDID I have to unplug and plug again the hdmi or power off the comet and power on again. If there a way to force this change without doing these steps?
I am using a mac.

Usually it will take effect immediately, but in some cases you may need to reboot. This may be related to your motherboard or system settings.
Do you need to change EDID frequently? Usually, you don't need to configure it again after setting it once.
Yes because sometimes I work with the laptop that has a screen resolution and sometimes with tthe desktop that has another.
Hello @luisabreuf83,
On macOS, EDID changes usually require replugging HDMI or rebooting due to how macOS caches display data. You can try using a display override script like patch-edid.rb to apply changes without unplugging, but results may vary depending on your macOS version. Official Website
