The monitor on mac is display correctly with U2720q on Display , but in UI i’s not render correctly.

If I use 3840x2160/GLKVM/30z , seems every thing display correctly , on screen and UI , but the problem is refresh rate is 30Hz , expect it to work at 60Hz. would be nice , is there any recommend settings for this setup ?

Thank you.

Our chip cannot support 4K60hz

Ouch — thanks for the clarification. Is there any plan to release a version that supports 4K at 60Hz soon? I didn’t read the specifications carefully, and the main reason I chose the GL-RM10 was for the HDMI passthrough.

So far, it’s been working flawlessly. What I’m trying to achieve is using my Mac locally while also being able to remotely access my workstation. I’ve been going back and forth between KVM solutions and software-based apps — ideally, I’d like both to work at the same time.

At the moment, it seems like 4K at 30Hz is the only available option.

If someone ever releases a KVM that supports 4K60, they'll likely advertise it as supporting 8K30 instead of 4K60 XD.

So you can waiting for someone to release a KVM that supports 8K.

By the way, chips that support 8K on the chip side seem to be particularly expensive.

Understood the limitation on hardware side and computing resources need to handle those low latency application, my little hack is using application to switch refresh rate back to 30hz when away from working station LoL
