Enable AP Isolation for the main SSIDs?

I know the guest networks have it on by default and it's supposed to enhance security. I was looking at the GUI, and I noticed there is an option to enable it for the two main SSIDs too. Should I? What are the consequences in a home/office environment? I can't recall a time or situation where I needed my devices to talk to each other. Help me understand this.

If you had a laptop on Wi-Fi but needed to up/download files from a NAS (Ethernet/NIC) or send to a networked printer you're gonna have a bad time.

Some printers support sending print jobs from phones, too.

This is why I needed to ask the experts here.

I think that's probably a feature I need to enable on a hardened network strictly for browsing and communication. Full OpenWRT may be necessary as the limitations of GL.iNet's firmware and hardware become clear.
