Upgrade EP06-E Firmware to Support eSIM Technical Support for Routers

Some older firmware of the EP06-E module do not support eSIM. To enable eSIM functionality, you need to upgrade the module firmware to version EP06ELAR04A22M4G. Maybe it will be useful for someone. 5ber arrived to me, I added the esim profile and inserted it into the router (gl-e750v1+EP06-E). The router sees the 5ber sim card and the "Add esim profile" button is active.

That's great but did you actually manage to add a profile?
I put my (5ber) SIM in a router and it didn't show any of the three profiles (and profile count showed "0") but it connected OK.

We don't test 5ber esim so we don't know whether it is compatible or not. there are some customer have tested esim.me sim card, and sometimes there are compatibility problems, such as failure to write profile. Why not use GL.iNet physical esim? There is not much advantage in comparing their card with ours, for example esim.me, it is expensive and just can storeage 5 esim profiles.

For 5ber, there is not seed profile, and it is expensive ours with theire Premium and Ultra cards.

I was able to add esim through the router interface and select it as the default. But after restarting the modem, the esim page disappeared and never appeared again. At the same time, esim, which I added and made by default, worked well.
The router page with the esim selection appeared only when I manually (using a card reader) returned the profile that was there before.

Thank you, I have no doubt that your esim works better with my router, but now you do not have delivery to my region. 5ber has no shipping restrictions, so I had to choose them.

Can you check your esim profile ICCID and tell me? you can hide the last few digits.

Please follow the steps to share the device to us to check.
1.Connect the device to the internet with using an Ethernet cable or repeater mode. Make sure the device stays connected to the internet throughout the process.

2.Refer to this link GoodCloud support guide for instructions to share your device with the support account.

3.Send your device's MAC address and password to GL.iNet support at hoff.xin@gl-inet.com for further assistance.

Thank you for wanting to help, I appreciate it. I rarely use two esims at the same time. I usually buy a second one when I travel and it works for a certain period of time. Now I don't have two esims to it check again.

so i have been following this line of chat and decided to take the plunge and buy the eiotclub physical esim. it arrived within 3 days and today i added it to a gl-e750v2 router. i followed all the instructions and got a connection to the net via the physical esim. then i decided to add a new profile from airola as a test . the profile downloaded and appears in the e-sim section under normal profile however there is no tab to enable it . anyone come accross this problem. thanks in advance
