πŸš€ Exciting Opportunity: Flint 3 (GL-BE9300) Beta Testing!

I am absolutely maxing out on my top ISP's download speed of 500mbps with Wiregurad Client on my UCG Ultra with rock solid connection and with IDS/IPS running as well at the same time and with 4 VLANs without the router breaking a sweat and so I am unsure as to what you base your statement on but it is certainly not factual. My Flint 2 gets same speeds but the connection is much more flakey and with VPN dropping every now and then for no obvious reason.

Latimosa I'm sure you know that the VPN Decryption and Encryption is very much dependent on clock speed as one of the variables...500Mbps...Even the Flint 1 is capable of that....Try getting a 2Gpbs connection and see how it fares...That's all I'm saying...It's great that the Ubiquiti is meeting your current requirements....I haven't had any flakey connections with either the Flint 1 or Flint 2 but I don't use the wifi.

Motox22a, I'm also sure you know that the VPN Decryption and Encryption is very much dependent other variables aside from the clock speed. Why don't you try getting a 2gbps connection and put the two in a head to head comparative testing and see how it fares?... That's all I'm saying. It's also great that the Flints have been meeting your requirements and long may it continue that you are happy to be a beta tester for these products and hope that you come back and give us your reports in the future.

Processor secret revealed ?

Applied for beta :upside_down_face::upside_down_face:

The UDR7 went through extensive beta testing. It's safe to say that the UX7 underwent beta testing too.

All devices go through beta testing.

Open beta testing is an opportunity for people who would like to join. If you don't wanna, it's fine.

I already asked this about Flint2, but then the answer was: No.

So, the same question, now about Flint3:

Can this router establish multiple vpn client connections when it is in load balance mode (so not in failover mode, but in load balance mode when more then one wan port are in use at the same time)? I mean, is it possible to establish OpenVPN or Wireguard connection separately and simultaneously for each every wan?

No, this is still under development for the next firmware versions, afaik. It's not about the router hardware itself - just the software.

I hope you will make a noticeable announcement when this option becomes available. :slightly_smiling_face:

I wonder what chip WiFi ? Same like Flint 2? MKT chip?

From the past thread, I think its Qualcomm

I'm also curious to give this a try - It would be a big upgrade over what I'm using right now and I'd be super curious to get a bit of exposure to the GL-Inet stuff, especially something that might have a bit more flexibility vs many other consumer options.

New to the GL-iNet Beta requests. How long does it normally take to receive a confirmation that they have received your request, been about 20D or so for mine and nothing yet. Also I do remember a message stating that even if not chosen I would be notified, how long does that Y/N message take. I guess this would be for any GL-iNet Beta requests not just this one. TIA all.

You might get a response if you were one of the "influencers" raving about their products...
