ExpressVPN setup on Beryl (GL-MT3000) - Easy to configure?

Hi everyone,

​I am planning to buy the GL.iNet Beryl (GL-MT3000) and I would like to use it with ExpressVPN.

​Before I dive into it, I wanted to ask the community: how easy is it to configure ExpressVPN on this specific router? I know that ExpressVPN doesn't have a dedicated router app for GL.iNet, so I assume I will need to use the OpenVPN manual configuration files.

  • ​Is the setup straightforward via the GL.iNet admin panel?

  • ​Are there any known performance drops or specific tips I should keep in mind?

  • ​Does anyone have a quick guide or a link to a reliable tutorial for this setup?

Since I don't use ExpressVPN, I can't confirm nor deny.

As long as ExpressVPN provides WireGuard and/or OpenVPN it should work without any issues.
