There are multiple versions of the AR-300M, but I think you are looking at one of these. The first uses an internal antenna, the second includes 2 external antennas, but you can change these. I believe the antennas are required on the EXT version (meaning the internal antenna is disabled).
There is a 5db external antenna on the menu for short money, which I expect will just screw on.
Are these antennae tuned for 700Mhz/1900Mhz LTE also?
I believe that these are just 2.4G wireless antennas.
