If there’s an Ethernet connection plugged into the WAN port, the only way to not use it (i.e., limited/non-routeable or just undesired network) is to unplug it, which is not always feasible.

For completeness, there should also be a way to disable “Tethering” or “Cellular”, if it does not already exist (I do not use either, so not sure).
