If the router id is written in flash is It lost when flashing different uboot and or fw or It is retrived from some hw id (chip sn, mac addr…)?
No, the GL serial number and other things are written in a separate partition that is not touched by uboot. You are free to flash any firmware and when you revert back to a GL firmware you will have all the cloud and ddns features again.
