I want to setup shadowsocks on port 443 on AX1800 flint, 4.8.3 Beta, to hide vpn use (Mullvad) from my ISP. My Flint is behind ISP router. All my traffic needs to go through the VPN tunnel and I don’t use printers or any other local network devices. Can someone walk me through the steps? Any other solution is welcome too.

You might consider waiting for v4.9 to be released for the AX1800.
In this version, we plan to add support for AmneziaWG, which includes obfuscation features so that the ISP cannot detect that a VPN is being used.
As for Shadowsocks, we currently do not provide support for it.
You may want to check the OpenWrt community, or wait to see if other users here share tutorials.
The release notes say 4.9 will only be available for Flint 2 and up. Can you confirm it will be released for AX1800 too? And when is expected to be released approximately?
Yes, we will release a v4.9 update for the AX1800.
However, we don’t have a specific timeline to share at this time, and it won’t be available anytime soon.
The Release Roadmap in the Download Center lists the first batch of devices to receive the update, and additional batches will follow later.
