Hi,
Bought this Flint 2 from amazon, to replace my EE router that did not had an 2.5g Ethernet port although they sell 1.6G internet (bit silly really)
So, ive configured everything i needed to my hosted servers, (port forwarding, custom DNS, custom ip range etc). Plugged the Internet cable, set to PPPOE and BUM,
Upon second time getting into the interface , it prompted me to update to 4.7.0 , which i did.
All working.
Next morning, we started to work (today) as me and my wife work from home,
Suddenly all devices got disconnected, the Flint 2 had the Internet light blinking.
Funny fact is that all devices from network became unrechable.
I disconnected all the cables and reconnected. nothing.
Rebooted it and it did not connect to the internet anymore.
2 hours of troubleshoot later, ive downgrade to 4.6.6 , had to reconfigure everything and now i hope i wont have to deal with this again.
I notice there is a OpenWRT old interface where it says the version is OpenWrt 21.02.
I was wondering if this version of OpenWrt is not really compatible with 4.7.0.
Not sure what is the relation between those 2 interfaces.
Can someone help me?
