For those interested in the issue that TPGNBN met, it is simply caused by a missing VLAN configuration.

I spoke with Barry on the GIL.iNet chat, and he suggested I contact my ISP (TPG) to get the VLAN ID. It turns out all I needed was to set the VLAN ID to 2, and the connection worked.
