Issue with access to the gl ui after flashing from 4.9.1 to 4.11.0/4.11.1 . Then my flint 2 can't connect PPPoe
stop working properly, 192.168.8.1 not answering, reboot not helping me. Than I recovered firmware clean, connect PPPoe then it's happened again.
When I returned to the 4.9.1 everything fine and work properly. I think it's trouble with firmware 4.11.0 ,use properly note possible my flint with new UI
This appears tied to enabling PPPoE on 4.11.x rather than a failed flash, since a clean recovery behaves normally until PPPoE is configured and 4.9.1 works.
If you test 4.11.1 again, please isolate the failure as follows:
- After the Admin Panel becomes unreachable, disconnect the WAN/PPPoE cable and reboot Flint 2.
- Connect one computer directly to a LAN port with Wi-Fi disabled.
- Check whether the computer receives a
192.168.8.xaddress and whetherping 192.168.8.1responds. If it receives no address, temporarily assign192.168.8.2/24with gateway192.168.8.1and repeat the ping.
Please report the ping result, whether removing WAN restores access, and the exact 4.11.1 build/firmware filename. This will distinguish a PPPoE/WAN interaction from a LAN DHCP or web-service failure. Continue using 4.9.1 for now if that is the stable version; another recovery reset is unlikely to add useful evidence.

Did you opt to retain settings prior to upgrading? With 4.11 being a major update version, it may have glitched. It is recommended you setup from scratch after manually recording your configuration settings. I always had issues with major firmware updates and a clean install mostly fixed things.
Hi,
Thank you for the detailed information.
We tested PPPoE locally on Flint 2 with both firmware v4.11.0 and v4.11.1. In our tests, the PPPoE connection could be established normally, and the Web Admin Panel at 192.168.8.1 remained accessible, so we have not been able to reproduce the reported issue so far.
If convenient, could you please upgrade to v4.10.0 or v4.11.1 again without keeping the existing configuration, then reconfigure and test the PPPoE connection?
If the PPPoE connection issue occurs again, could you please export the relevant system logs and send them to us to investigate further?
Thank you for your feedback.

I've already been trying clean install, my wireguard stop working, internet connection is broken ,wifi clients not showing and not connecting to flint 2 . I’m already back to 4.9.1 and everything working well. So in my opinion something strange going on 4.11.1 firmware anyway ![]()
Still based on old op21 ? I really hope its not ![]()
Yes. Flint 2 firmware v4.11.0 reports an OpenWrt 21.02-SNAPSHOT base, and v4.11.1 is an incremental firmware update rather than a migration to a newer OpenWrt base.

I had issues lately on the Beta 4.11 and went back to 4.9.1, then they released the ‘stable’ 4.11 just as I had set the routers back! So trying the stable 4.11 now for a few weeks to see how that works out. But as said in my other post gave up on IoT as HomeKit won’t work unless all on same network. Also, I did fresh installs on both - no config saving to rule out bugs or stick states. Good luck.
I'm having the same issue on the stable 4.11.0 release. PPPoE still dials, but only on WAN port . Once it connects, only the router has internet access; the clients don't. When I check the client list, it's completely empty . DHCP shows nothing unusual . client cant ping 1.1.1.1 . However, when I ping through the router's SSH, it works fine, meaning there is internet inside the router but clients cannot access the internet.
Since PPPoE connects and the router itself has Internet access, the next step is to distinguish a LAN/DHCP problem from a forwarding or DNS problem.
Connect one computer directly to a LAN port, disable its Wi-Fi, and report:
- The IP address it receives—only the subnet, such as
192.168.8.x; do not post identifiers. - Whether it can ping
192.168.8.1. - Whether it can ping
1.1.1.1. - Whether it can resolve and ping
example.com.
If 1.1.1.1 works but example.com does not, investigate DNS. If the gateway works but 1.1.1.1 fails, the problem is LAN-to-WAN forwarding. If no 192.168.8.x address is assigned, it points to DHCP/LAN handling. Temporarily disable all VPN tunnels, “Block Non-VPN Traffic,” and Access Control if any are enabled, then repeat the test. Please send the results, exact 4.11.0 build, and a redacted log archive to charles2 by private message, not publicly.

Came here to say that exactly the same thing happened to me. After upgrading 4.9 → 4.11 UI became unresponsive. SSH worked but extremely slow. Did a hard reboot (unplug) and now it’s working fine. No clue what happened.
