Flint 2 MT6000 - Extending Guest Networks to OpenWRT Access Points

I have 2 access points running OpenWRT. I am currently running op24 on my Flint 2 router and I have the Guest network enabled. Is it possible for me to extend this to the 2 APs and if so, how would I do this? Thanks you!

Hello,

I d like to clarify if you need to connect Flint2 guest network to those two OpenWRT APs?

Or do you need to add 2 guest networks separately on Flint2?

Hi Bruce,

I just need to extend the Guest networks to the APs if possible. I could use VLAN IDs if needed as my APs support them.

Currently, I have 2 Guest networks activated on Flint 2:

2.4Ghz Guest - IOT Devices (LAN access blocked)
5Ghz Guest - General guest network (LAN access blocked)

I'm quite familiar with Luci incase I need to use that. Thank you!

If extend the Flint 2 Guest networks to the APs, you need to configure the VLAN ID and the Guest WiFi interface in Flint 2.

It is a customized configuration. Please search for VLAN in the forum and learn how to configure VLAN ID in Luci.
