Flint 2 Nat Loopback issue/ Ark Server Issues

Flint 2, V5.4.238

Hi, I am recently new to Flint routers and have enjoyed to love them, we have Frontier FIOS with ethernet connection and originally for SQM, as my buffer bloat was terrible, I have fq_codel situated ad now get A+ buffer bloat due to this router for gaming. I have come into an issue however, I am familiar with port forwading and have done this on my previouws router, Arris Nvg468q and was able to host Ark survival evolved servers via nat loopback, for the sake of simplicity, I am using the extact same laptop which I used to host the server and has the following done…

Firewall ports on Windows firewall 7777,7778,27015 UDP/TCP

Static ip address on laptop

Firewall ports on Flint 2, udp/tcp 7777,7778,27015 UDP/TCP

Also enabled Full Cone Nat to help, and enabled DMZ earlier (turned off) to see if it would work when I was having issues earlier…did not LOL

I still cannot connect to the server via outside lan (works in lan however so I expect the router porting is getting blocked or something is interfering)

I feel like I am at my wits end and don’t know what to do, is this router not able to port forward correctly? I did see in a previous post someone reset theirs to factory setting and it worked with default settings but I need fq_codel for my network, that was the whole purpose of this router, If I need to provide anything else please let me know! ty again. Screenshots are below unless I missed something. I have not edited anything else firewall wise on luci/Gli.net that I know of and hope someone can help…

Just had a quick look, the only thing I think might be happening is the server not being able to respond back to the client, maybe add the reverse of these as well. Lan to Wan. Just in case some weirdness is happening

Hmm that is weird.

The rules appear to be logically making sense you forward from wan to lan and to a lan ip, that is not wrong, it is possible though that you may have to keep the port empty as destination on the lan side, it could be a passive port and a strange implementation of game multiplayer.

Which gives me the question if windows firewall also open this port?

Another question I get is how sure are you the port is really open? Is the isp blocking ports?

If you can open a tcp port, and then scan with a portprobe site, do you see if it is open?

I can definitely check that, but I’m not sure why the isp would now block the ports as I was able to port forwarding the server and play with friends off lan before this flint, same firewall rules as well. What’s a preferred site to check?

In lucid, you think adding that rule may help as well?

^ edit: it seem the url is broken just click on the logo or type by google.

showing the ports are closed unfortunately, not sure what else needs to be done…

Could you please check if your ISP supports opening ports?
