I'd like to switch to IPV6. Every thing works except one of my devices doesnt like it. Is there a way to turn on IPV6 and restict one device to IPV4 only?
What device doesn’t like it?
Eufy homebase for cameras.
Can’t find any information online about issues with Homebase and ipv6.
Does it have the latest firmware installed?
Is it the HB3 or 2?
2 and latest firmware. Notifications will come late or not at all when on IPV6. Theres posts on reddit about it. I seen a link somewhere where customer service told them to go back to IPV4.
Researched my best, unable to help unfortunately.
Im getting a HB3 next month so hopefully I don’t have the same issue.
Anyone on here have a HB2 or HB3 that can offer any support?
This may require luci + firewall (iptables/nftables) to achieve only allocating the IPv6 address of the corresponding client.
