Hello everyone. Yesterday i did the flint2 update and the files i had put in the /root directory were deleted. Is this normal? thanks
This is normal 
Everytime you flash firmware, it wipes everything.
This is because routers are small embedded devices, and to avoid bricking due to, too much space it does that.
You can keep configuration when flashing, you can also make a backup, but it will only track config files.

You can also modify a config file and identify files you want to be kept. /etc/sysupgrade.conf IIRC
