Flint 3 guest wi-fi no Internet

I have a Flint 3, although I'm not sure my issue is specific to the model.

Bark enabled, custom DNS set to Control D.

Anything on my guest wi-fi can not reach the Internet unless I enable “Override DNS Settings of All Clients”

However, it's my understanding, that it then breaks bark’s ability to function properly.

Is there something else I'm missing?

I did attempt the set the DNS on the guest Wi-Fi to 192.168.9.1 with no change.

Hi

We have conducted testing locally using a Flint 3 running firmware version v4.8.3 , but we were unable to reproduce the issue. Devices on the Guest Wi-Fi are able to resolve DNS addresses and access the internet normally.

If you switch from Control D to Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS, do the devices on the Guest Wi-Fi function correctly?

Yes, when "Override DNS Settings of All Clients" is enabled, Bark will cease to function.

I completely reset the router and started over.

I changed the network to 10.0.1.1

I set DNS to control d (adguard home and bark don't work well together)

I set the wifi names and passwords for home wifi

I enabled bark

I enabled wireguard server

I enabled Dynamic dns.

I enabled goodcloud

I enabled guest wifi with guest info

Checked on devices on guest wifi, connected my laptop, had internet. Woohoo.

However, this did not last. After some time I started losing internet on guest devices.

I disabled goodcloud

I disabled wireguard

No change. Waited a bit, restarted router, still no Internet on guest. I could disable other things to see what's causing it to lose Internet but I want to believe it's bark. I could reset the router and do it one at a time… but I don't have the time and patience.

I give up.

Not sure what's happening but if it does work, it isn't long before it stops. Maybe a combination of settings.

I just changed my 2.4ghz wifi as my guest info. I lose the ap isolation, but that's what it's going to be for now.

Thank you for your update.

Have you had a chance to share the device with us via GoodCloud according to the tutorial below so that we can remotely check this issue?
Technical Support via GoodCloud - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

Please note that after sharing, you will need to send the device’s MAC address and the Admin Panel login password via private message so that we can access it.

Done. Thank you.
