Flint 4 v4.11 beta3 (PureVPN Provider login)

After upgrading i cannot login to PureVPN provider for WireGuard. always it gives error "get third part provider token fail [20001211]"

also plugins are not shown for custom location configured.

Both symptoms may indicate that the router cannot reach the VPN-provider API or package repositories after the upgrade. Please test:

  1. Go to Network → DNS, select Manual DNS, set 8.8.8.8, apply, and retry the PureVPN login and plug-in list. If unchanged, try Encrypted DNS.
  2. Restart the router. If the error remains, temporarily connect its WAN to a phone hotspot and retry. If it works there, the issue is likely related to DNS or upstream-network access rather than your PureVPN credentials.
  3. If PureVPN two-factor authentication is enabled, temporarily disable it and test again.

If these tests do not help, please provide the exact Flint 4 firmware version/build and clarify where the custom plug-in location was configured. Do not post your PureVPN credentials or token.

When i flash again without keeping setting it worked. But still not able to view plugins with custom repositories why?

A clean flash removes custom repository settings, so first confirm that the repository was added again. If it was, connect by SSH, run opkg update, and check whether that custom feed downloads its package index successfully. The plug-in page cannot display packages when the feed update fails or when its packages are incompatible with Flint 4’s OpenWrt version or CPU architecture.

Please share the custom repository entry, the package name you expect to see, and only the relevant error lines from opkg update—redact any credentials or private tokens. This will distinguish a repository/index problem from a package-compatibility issue. Custom third-party repositories are not officially supported by GL.iNet; any guidance is best-effort, and GL.iNet Technical Support may not be able to troubleshoot or maintain those packages.

Hi,

Regarding the custom repository issue, could you please SSH into the router and run the following commands?

cat /etc/apk/repositories.d/customfeeds.list
apk update
apk search 'package-name'

Please replace package-name with the name or a keyword of the plugin you are looking for.
Could you share the command outputs and let us know which plugin you expected to see in the Web Admin Panel?

Thank you for your support.
