Hi, I've enabled Wireguard on the Flint2, created the Peer for my phone, installed the Wireguard app on my phone, and copied my QR code. But when I try to connect my phone to the router's VPN, I can't browse and I have no internet. Do I need to configure anything else?
Hi, yes, it's my first flint2, but I have a Xiaomi AX3600 with OpenWRT and WireGuard works fine. On flint2, I only get it to work properly for 2 hours, then I can't reconnect. I see that the phone sends packets but doesn't receive, and on the router, it doesn't receive anything. I have to reset flint2 to factory settings and recreate the VPN. It works again for 2 hours until it fails again. I don't know what to do.
Hi, as you can see, I have everything activated as you mentioned, and I can't receive anything on my phone. I have a fixed IP address, and I had no problems getting it working on my previous OpenWRT router. I configured everything in the web interface, but I switched to OpenWRT to see if I could see any errors. I don't know where the problem could be. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello again, I've followed all the steps, installed the beta version of flint 2, restored the router to factory settings, and I'm still getting the same result. If I restore the router to factory settings the first time I enable Wireguard, I can browse all day. The next day, I can no longer connect to Wireguard while maintaining the same IP address. Even if I turn the server off and on, I can't get the link and have to reinstall the router to factory settings.
So it seems that your ISP renewed your IP so that your wireguard server address (endpoint) changed. Can you use ddns in the wireguard config? You should have an option to do this when you generate the QR code.
