Need help!! My new router arrived today, plugged it up setup no problem via wifi used it for a while with my phone and laptop, downloaded the app was advised of a firmware update, started downloading update it disconnected halfway through and now will not work. Tried hard reset, hooking it up LAN and nothing. The only light that comes on is the power light. Any ideas?
What happens if the person doesn’t own a laptop or PC? Computers are becoming obsolete as more people opt for hand held devices that aren’t at risk of breakage if some fan is covered
Android phones support OTG Ethernet adapters. Not all phones support setting static IP though, i know Samsung phones let you do it, but my Huawei does not.
Since you just received the router today, just return it for an exchange. There is no fault on your part.
