I’m the owner of a GL-AR150 and GL-USB150 there is a way to configure GL-AR150 to act as a server mesh for GL-usb150 over the USB port?

Mesh generally means wifi mesh. So I am not sure why you need USB.

Seems you want to connect USB150 to AR150’s USB port, and want they talk to each other, right?

That could work. I think USB150 will work as eth2 in AR150’s system. You can configure eth2 for your purpose.

I want to conect ar150 on wan port and us 150 to broadcast the Internet over wifi trough usb port. Ar150 to act as the gateway for usb150.
At least I want to know if there is a way to connect the two devices over USB.

In AR150, please install kmod-usb-net-rtl8152

You can install using the web UI or shell

opkg update
opkg install kmod-usb-net-rtl8152

Now plug your USB150 into AR150’s USB port. You will find there is an eth2 ifname if using ‘ifconfig -a’. You need to configure that.

You can use eth2 as WAN if you want. If you need to use it as LAN, you need to ssh to USB and change the settings as well.

Also make sure your LAN settings on each router is different so that when they talk with each other, they do not conflict in subnet.

So why you want to use USB150 to broadcast Internet? Doesn’t AR150 have its own wifi.

I want this because the wi-fi from ar150 will broadcast normal wi-fi and the one from usb150 will first connect to an vpn and broadcast wi-fi from vpn. So 2 Wi-Fi ap with different purpose only one network connection.
Also I want to know if there is a special package for captive portal?
