The specs say it uses <1w of power but on the back it says it requires 5v 1Amp which suggest a max of 5w
What is the minimum power required to run the router?
With external devices, it could consume more current. For example a USB disk, webcam or 3G/4G modem.
The router consumes 200+ mA. If you can use a 500mA power adapter, it should be OK. But we suggest a 5V1A adapter, as it is very common on the market.
