I'm trying to set up open vpn wireguard with a vu+ uno4k receiver and I'm not getting anywhere. I only want the receiver as a vpn, if I set it up on my computer I have vpn on my router and not on the receiver, how do I set up vpn for just the receiver
Login to the router, go to VPN Dashboard > Global Proxy and play with those settings (eg. add the Mac or IP of the receiver).
However, most firmwares for the Vu+ already have Wiregaurd pre-installed or downloadable as a plugin/extension, so you could add a client direct on the receiver.

No idea what you are asking but you don't need anything on your computer - setup Wireguard on the router OR Vu+.

If your router acts like the VPN gateway, no other device needs to be connected directly to the VPN. The router will handle all.

Or just set it up on the receiver using the remote control and send any necessary files over to the Vu+ using WinSCP - loads of guides if you do a quick search
