I can try the power adapter of my phone that at 5V can output the same 2A as the one with the router.

In the 2.4Ghz spectrum the channel is set on auto so I think that the router should automatically pick the best one, on the 5Ghz spectrum I can’t use the auto option because my computer doesn’t support all the channels so I’ll try changing it.

Do you mean changing the encryption method to WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Mixed Mode? Because I don’t think that that can be of any help. Or do you mean forcing a cipher? In this case I would like to know what you advice.

Lately the connection between my pc and the 2.4Ghz guest network with the exposed ssid has been quite stable but it is obviously not a definitive solution. Furthermore my pc is always very slow to recognize that it has access to the internet, do you have any idea why?
