GL-AR750S Slate - Missing SMS (Envelope Icon)

Hi,

I have a 4G LTE USB modem connected via USB. It works great, but unlike my GL-X750 Spitz, the SMS (Envelope) icon is missing. Does the GL-AR750S Slate not support SMS sending/receiving? I’m on firmware v3.105. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

It does not support sms function.

This function is tightly related to the modem model and you cannot make it compatible with USB modems easily.

It was a Quectel EC25-AF that I pulled out of a GL-X750 Spitz, but understand if it won’t work with the GL-AR750S Slate with the USB enclosure. Thanks for the confirmation.
