GL-AX1800 - 4.7.0 - Global option "Services from GL.iNet Use VPN" not workin

Hello!

It doesn't matter if "Services from GL.iNet Use VPN" is toggled or not. When Wireguard-VPN is active always the VPN-IP-address will be used for DDNS-Link.
Expectation is, that when function is not toggled the provider-ip is used for DDNS.
I also guess this worked in older versions.

Is my expectation wrong??

Please try to upgrade the AX1800 firmware to v4.8.0, and check again

Installed 4.8.0 beta: if "Services from GL.iNet Use VPN" is not selected the provider ip is used -> as expected.
If "Services from GL.iNet Use VPN" is selected still the provider ip is used -> should it be that way??

If the "Services from GL.iNet Use VPN" enabled, the DDNS resolved IP should be from the VPN server IP.

Is DDNS IP from ISP WAN if enabled it?

Yes, it is the ISP WAN ..

Hi,

This issue is not reproduced in my AX1800 v4.8.0, please disable and re-enable the GL DDNS when it enabled "Services from GL.iNet Use VPN" or disabled, and check again.
