Hi, I've been running on 4.7.0-release7 for the last 8 days and it hasn't crashed yet. I'll let you know if it crashes before switching to this temporary firmware.
Thank you for your update.
Regardless of whether the fact that v4.7.0 did not crash, I recommend and please trying to upgrade to the above test firmware without "keep settings".
If it crashes, it will print in more detail and provide more effective syslog for R&D analysis.
Hi, thanks for the reply. Sure thing, I'll clean-reflash with the test firmware and see if I can reproduce it.
FYI, the v4.7.0 build lasted 17 days without crashing, so yeah something about the stable release is bugged.
After flashing the file you sent my router is now bootlooping. In hindsight I think you sent me an incomplete file, judging by the .crdownload
extension...
I will try and debrick with the beta firmware.
I was able to debrick my router and get it back on the beta (v4.7.0) firmware. Please let me know if there is a proper test firmware to replicate the crashes on. Thanks
I was wrong on that, sincerely apologize.
Attached it complete this time.
Please try installing this debug firmware, if the issue reproduces, please export the syslog.
Hello,
How about this issue of the test firmware?
Hi, WeTransfer says the file has expired, sorry for not downloading it sooner. May I request another upload?
Hello,
@ericswpark Please download it here:
Hi, thanks for the upload. I've flashed it just now. I will let you know with the logread archive if it crashes.
@bruce Hi, the debug firmware has been running fine for the last 26 days. I think it may have been a glitch with the old firmware or configuration combination.
