I am struggling to find a definitive answer online for this question. I have a CISCO SG500 switch that supports link aggregation:
Whereby 2 or more physical ports share an IP address and act as 1 physical port, joining the bandwidth. In essence, I want to make the the pair of single gigabit ports act as 1 port and increase thruput.
As of now I have not made anything work. Is this possible?
I think it’s hard to share an ip address. It’s a bit of a conflict with network principles. If you just want to do loadbalancing, it’s easy on glinet’s router.
