Hello! I have a shiny new Flint-3, which has been working (for the most part) without issue. I have a number of devices on my home network, and would like to be able to RDP to those devices over wireless.
Problem is, connection attempts via wireless just aren’t working. I can take a device (e.g. a work laptop), plug it in via cable to the Flint-3 and have absolutely no problems connecting to it from my main machine that IS connected via wireless - it’s just that connect attempts when the remote device is connected to wireless only are failing
Windows creates different network profiles/network categories for different connection types (wired/wireless).
Have you checked whether you selected the Private/Home network profile instead of the Public network profile? Essential Network Settings and Tasks in Windows - Microsoft Support
thanks for the reply - yes, the wireless network on both machines is set to “private”, and Windows firewall is disabled on both as well. I can’t ping the machine i want to remote to, nor does it appear in the ARP table that I want to connect from.
