The client still did not do any update request to the server from your log.

That log was just to show you what happened once it went into the "I've given up trying" state (perma fail). Once I restarted the DDNS client again it went back to the expected logs and showed update success.

you mean that you restarted the ddns client just now and it work again now?

Yes.. see my post above. I went back into that Flint2 tonight (12 hours later) to check again, saw those logs and then restarted the DDNS client again. This time it updated successfully on the first try.

Thanks for your log, I need to confirm with my colleagues for the firmware issues.
