GL.iNet X3000 dropping SCC

Ah, I had no idea about those numbers! That would help me see what bandwidth the SCC channel is under AT+QCAINFO. I could only see the dl_bandwidth under Cells Info.

@gainestr, do you have an external antenna?

No, I do not.

DL_bandwidth
0 - 5 MHz
1 - 10 MHz
2 - 15 MHz
3 - 20 MHz
4 - 25 MHz
5 - 30 MHz
6 - 40 MHz
7 - 50 MHz
8 - 60 MHz
9 - 70 MHZ
10 - 80 MHz
11 - 90 MHz
12 - 100 MHz
13 - 200 MHz
14 - 400 MHz

Might be worth a shot if you can point it towards the tower. I have low-E glass which blocks a lot of signal and I was getting 80 down, 1-2 up. I got the Waveform 4x4 Quadpro and even though I don’t have direct line of sight (several trees in the way), I’m now getting 500 down, 30 up and I’m about 3 miles from the tower.

The one odd thing was that it greatly helped N41 signal but did nothing for N25 or N71 even though the spec sheet said it should improve those frequencies. But regardless, I’m much happier with the speeds now.

Thanks for the tip. I have personally helped other people install the antenna and have seen it work better for them. I plan on leaving the area in a few months and the new location gets around your speeds if I remember right. So I'm fine with anything considering that I'm currently near a naval airport with the closest tower about 5 miles away. I can typically get between 60 and 160 most days depending on the band it connects to.

My router just did this tonight for the first time. Wow!

Both PCC and SCC are on band 41.

I just noticed this 2 days ago as well! I wonder what changed because I didn’t update anything on the router.

Im actually 1100 miles away from it so I definitely haven't changed anything.
