GL-MiFi external Wi-Fi antenna (U.FL connector)

On the Domino Wi-Fi module is an U.FL connector located.

Can this be used for an external Wi-Fi antenna?
If so, do I need to disconnect the internal antenna somehow?

You need to disconnect the PCB antenna.

Remove R57 is a quick way. You re can remove the solder from the Domino Core Pin which is connected to R57.

Not sure if the signal will be affected.
