Trying to set up my MT 1300 for file storage on a network. Been banging my head. Search tells me to hit the Admin Panel>System>Overview>External Storage. There is no "System" option on my Admin Panel. Any ideas? Searched thru Plug-ins but nothing looks applicable
Unfortunately the original Beryl (GL-MT1300) had some features removed from the later firmware release due to CPU load issues / storage limitations. You can run legacy firmware with original features or you can go down the manual route and install plugins on the latest firmware.
I was disappointed to learn this and recently replaced my Beryl with the Beryl AX (GL-MT3000) model, removing features on the Beryl GL-MT1300 that were advertised still doesn't sit right with me but it's the path they chose.
