GL-MT3000 and RM520N-GL

I have a GL-MT3000 with an RM520N-GL connected via USB. The cell radio is connected but not passing internet traffic. Does anyone have the same setup working?

Openwrt Version: OpenWrt 21.02-SNAPSHOT r15812+879-46b6ee7ffc

Kernel Version: 5.4.211

Version: 4.2.2 (stable)

*I also tried the latest 5/5 snapshot.

In addition tethering with my iPhone also does not work. I have the personal hotspot enabled on my phone and then click connect in the GL UI but it does not connect. Just changes the status from Connecting… back to the Connect screen.

UPDATE: I rolled back to 4.2.1 and both tethering and cellular are working.

Interesting, you have the updated 1A07 modem firmware on your unit.

Good eye! Yep, I upgraded using my USB modem enclosure to A07 for ATT support and more importantly T-Mobile stability fixes.

Hopefully there will be an option for Spitz AX customers to upgrade as well.
