GL-MT3000 very unstable

As title, I’ve just got a new GL-MT3000 and find the software very unstable.
I’ve installed 4.2.0, 4.1.3 and 4.1.2 and all are fairly flakey…

For instance, in Luci with 4.1.2 the wireless power is reported as (eg) 100 dBm, when it’s set as 100 mW. When I install additional software packages (almost any) it bricks and I have to uboot recover it…
In Luci with 4.1.2, the wireless is reported as bg (not anacax). Also, when I do a scan the wireless will not associate.

A general observation is that Luci with any of these three builds is unstable.
Am I doing something wrong or is it just new software on a new router?

Thanks…

The MT3000 uses a Wi-Fi driver that is proprietary to MTK and is not compatible with LUCI.
If you want to configure the tx power, you can set the TX power parameter to the max level in the UI of glinet.

Thanks, that’s interesting - if annoying!
