I complete reset to factory defaults cleared this, but playing around it seems that a complete reset is the only way to remove a repeater once setup.
You cannot delete/remove it in the standard admin, and clicking disable, then delete in LuCI doesn’t do anything. The wifi restarts and the repeater still shows up. Seems like an annoying bug.
