GL-MT300N-V2 and EasyTether IO Error

Recently got a MT300N-V2, it works great! except every few hours, the app that i am using to tether my phone, as it’s the only option i have for internet out where im at, EasyTether, ends up crashing from something, when the internet goes down, i can go to the logs, and it’ll show up

I’ve never really used an open source router like this so im quite a bit new with this.

Only things there is connected to the router is my pc and an Amazon fire stick. i’ve used various versions of the driver and they all end up doing the same thing after a while.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: also, everytime i connect my phone to the router(for the tethering), after a few seconds, it’ll come up saying the connected device cannot access data from this device. is there any concern for that is it just something to be ignored?

EDIT 2:
Kernel log is coming up with this around the same time that the IO error comes up
