Any release date news for TOR firmware for GL-MT300N-V2 ?

Also, current firmware for the GL-MT300N-V2 isn’t yet available on the website (https://www.gl-inet.com/products/gl-mt300n-v2/).

Thanks,

Great, thank you.

  1. Are instructions available anywhere for installing and using the TOR firmware in /tor?

  2. What are the /clean and /v1 directories? Their uses, differences?

Thanks!

Pls check Overview - GL.iNet Docs

Clean is firmware with only Luci.

V1 folder is our release stock firmware

Hi,

I was able to install your Tor firmware ( lede-mt300n-v2-tor-2.2641.bin ) on my GL.inet router GL-MT200N-V2.

I am now able to connect to the WiFi of my GL.inet router.

When the small switch on the GL.inet box is to the right I can use the GL.inet’s WiFi to access the Domino control panel ( http://192.168.8.1 ) and it says, that Tor is connected. At this point I can also access websites through GL.inet’s WiFi - but no traffic is routed through Tor (because the switch is to the right).

When the small switch on the GL.inet box is however to the left, I can still use the GL.inet’s WiFi but I cannot access any website :frowning: :frowning: I also and cannot access the control panel (which is OK).

I cannot find any way to access websites through GL.inet’s Tor!
I even tried using LAN instead of WiFi but no success.

What do I need to do to access the internet through GL.inet’s Tor?

Please kindly advise / help me!

Regards, James

While seems Tor has problem in connection. When switch on the left all traffic will go through Tor.

You can ssh to the router and check if Tor is there. Also use logread to check the logs

logread |grep Tor
