Was wondering if there was a possibility to add
‘host’
‘dig’
‘tcpdump’

and possibly ‘telnet’ to the available software rep?

I was able to add ‘tcpdump-mini’ by editing:
/etc/opkg/customfeeds.conf
and adding the line:
src/gz openwrt Index of /releases/17.01.0/packages/mipsel_24kc/base/
and after ‘opkg update’ , I have tcpdump.

Still looking for compatible packages for the other utils.

dig is in bind-dig
host is in bind-host

Maybe you just need “bind”?

I downloaded and installed bind-host and bind-dig, but
before that, when I searched, it didn’t give me any hits.
Is that because the directory where there packages are
are not listable?
