[GL-MT6000 / Flint 2] Bricked (GPT Corruption?) & Physically Obstructed UART (2026 EU Model) - Seeking Web UI Recovery Files

Hi,

Hi, I could not solve problem with my GL-MT6000 (Flint 2).
U-Boot Web UI works correctly, but after flashing the file you have sent me there is update error. Flashing newest firmware doesnt help amd the router enters a boot loop. The LED stays blue and restarts approximately every 20 seconds. There is no Wi-Fi and no DHCP; my Mac receives a 169.254.x.x address.
When I enter U-Boot recovery again, I also get “UPDATE FAILED”.
Could you please help me with that?
I can provide the MAC address and serial number via private message if required.

Hello Charles. Could you please help me. I tried to flash gpt emms but to no success. After uploading nothing changed. I followed your instruction. I strill have a kimś of loop. Blue light, then twice blinking then blue light for 20 sec again.

Any help guys?

My Flint 2 is also stuck in a reboot loop... I wanted to perform an update but accidentally selected the wrong file, and then nothing worked anymore. I was able to access the U-Boot update web interface and select a compatible U-Boot file, but shortly after that, my Flint 2 stopped responding completely...
I would also need a recovery file, please.

First confirm whether the U-Boot Web UI is still reachable: connect only one computer to LAN 2, 3, or 4, set its Ethernet address to 192.168.1.2/255.255.255.0, then hold Reset while powering on. Release Reset after the blue LED flashes six times and becomes solid, then open http://192.168.1.1 with VPN/proxy software disabled.

If that page remains inaccessible, a GPT recovery file cannot be uploaded through the Web UI, so please report the LED pattern and whether any of those LAN ports establishes an Ethernet link. If it is accessible, wait for GL.iNet staff to provide the correct GL-MT6000 recovery file and instructions by private message; do not post your serial number or MAC address publicly or try additional unrelated images meanwhile.

The LEDs on the Flint 2 remain off... so I assume the router isn't responding at all anymore?!

Completely dark LEDs do not by themselves confirm permanent damage. Disconnect all cables for one minute, then reconnect the original power adapter directly to a known-working outlet and ensure the power button is on. While holding Reset, power on the router and check whether either the status LED or the computer’s Ethernet link indicator appears when connected to LAN 2, 3, or 4.

If there is still no LED, Ethernet link, or access to 192.168.1.1, Web UI recovery is no longer possible. Since this happened immediately after flashing a U-Boot file, the bootloader may be damaged; further recovery would require GL.iNet staff guidance, potentially using low-level recovery or hardware service. Do not flash additional files, and send any serial number or MAC address only by private message to support staff.

Upon testing it again, I notice that the PC's LAN port—where the router is connected—keeps switching between "Network disconnected" and "Unidentified network"; the LAN port on the PC is lit up, too. Externally, the router appears dead, but internally, it is still alive.

The intermittent Ethernet link indicates that the router is still receiving power and its network hardware is attempting to initialize, but it does not confirm that U-Boot is running.

Use one computer connected directly to LAN 2, LAN 3, or LAN 4 (not LAN 1), with Wi‑Fi, VPN, and proxy software disabled. Set the Ethernet adapter manually to 192.168.1.2 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0, then hold Reset while powering on and check whether http://192.168.1.1 or a continuous ping to 192.168.1.1 becomes reachable. Try the LAN ports individually. If there is still no response on any port, stop flashing additional files and contact GL.iNet Technical Support for low-level recovery or hardware-service guidance; send the serial number or MAC address only by private message.

I've got the same issue as RickkRickk. Can I get the file as well?
