[GL-MT6000 / Flint 2] "UPDATE FAILED" in U-Boot Web UI after flashing official OpenWrt — same symptom as thread 69958

Hello,

I recently flashed the official OpenWrt community factory image (mediatek/filogic, glinet_gl-mt6000) onto my GL-MT6000 (Flint 2):

File: openwrt-25.12.5-mediatek-filogic-glinet_gl-mt6000-squashfs-factory.bin
SHA256: d0c997128c3c775be10311f80b4c20c9f85bbc8c2ebb2601f5957b7290b71412

The flash via LuCI (forced upgrade, bypassing signature check) completed and the device rebooted successfully into OpenWrt. However, afterward the LAN ports stopped responding entirely (no link light, no DHCP, no response on any LAN port from multiple test devices and cables).

I entered U-Boot Web Recovery mode (blue LED flashed 6 times, then solid white), accessed http://192.168.1.1/, and attempted to upload firmware to recover the device — both the same official OpenWrt image above and the original GL.iNet stock firmware. Both uploads complete successfully (correct size and MD5 shown), but clicking "Update" immediately fails with:

UPDATE FAILED

This matches exactly the symptom described in thread [GL-MT6000 / Flint 2] "UPDATE FAILED" in U-Boot Web UI after factory reset — suspected GPT corruption , which was diagnosed as GPT (partition table) corruption and resolved via a private eMMC partition recovery file from GL.iNet support.

Could you please provide the same recovery file for my device? I'm happy to share my router's MAC address via private message.

Thank you very much in advance.

I’m facing same issue with my Beryl AX MT3000, clicking "Update" immediately fails with:
