Hi,
the OpenWRT on the latest GL-MV1000 is too old.
Is it possible to upgrade the OpenWRT (containing newer, required drivers) without breaking the GL-software running ontop of OpenWRT?
ty,
Oliver

No, doesn’t help because the last beta is still based on the old openwrt 19.07.8 that doesn’t contain the required mt76x2u driver.
kmod-mt76x2u
Version:
see kernel for details
Description:
MediaTek MT76x2U wireless driver\ \
Installed size:
7kB
Dependencies:
kernel, kmod-mac80211, kmod-mt76x2-common, kmod-mt76x02-usb
OpenWrt release:OpenWrt-21.02.0
You could install drivers by yourself
So just install vanilla? Index of /releases/21.02.1/targets/mvebu/cortexa53/ (openwrt.org)
Just be aware that OpenWrt 21.02 comes with initial support for DSA, which replaces the swconfig
system that OpenWrt was using up until now. This includes BRUME.
