GL-RM1 ATX board not recognized

Just got my GL-RM1 and ATX board. Got it all connected and the ATX board isn’t being recognized. Tried 2x USB A to C cables and still not showing up in the Accessories tab.

I do have a light on the ATX board when plugged in, so it is getting power. Updated GL-RM1 to the latest firmware after powering on (1.9.2r1). Let me know if there is anything else I need to provide.

Hello, did you refer to the document in the link for the operation? Additionally, could you provide the device logs?

Welp, doesn’t appear I can attach logs (too new of a user?). I’ve been messaging Jose Munoz in support as well and have sent the logs over that way.

Hi, I cannot see the log file you attached. Can you see that it was uploaded successfully? You can export the logs from the attached image. Also, please ensure that the ATX is connected to the GL-RM1 when exporting the logs.

Here’s the latest logs. I did shut down my server this weekend and make sure the screen printing on the Power SW header connector is facing outward and readable. Still no dice.

It appears that your GL-RM1 is unable to detect the ATX connection. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Replace the USB-C cable connecting the ATX and the GL-RM1, and check if the connection is restored.
  2. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB-A port of the GL-RM1 to confirm whether the RM1 can recognize it.
  3. Connect the ATX to a computer and check if it is recognized in Device Manager.

Please complete the tests above and let us know the result for each step so we can determine whether the issue lies with the RM1 or the ATX. Thank you for your cooperation.

That’s what it was. Bad USB-A to USB-C cable. Just swapped it out for a known working one and now the ATX board shows up in my accessory tab. Thanks so much for the help in troubleshooting this!
