GL-RM1 Comet - change mouse settings

Hello! I have been testing and using the Comet for about 4 days now primarily for remote work, and so far I am loving it. It has replaced my PiKVM v2 because the Comet has audio (output) support. Though, I wonder if audio input will be implemented some day?

Anyways.. I use the Comet through the GLKVM beta app on MacOS. One feature that is missing in the Comet that the PiKVM has is configuring the mouse settings, such as mouse scrolling rate and inverting mouse scroll (vertical and horizontal). Right now, when I scroll with the touch pad, it scrolls too fast and when physically scrolling to the left, it instead scrolls to the right, vice versa.

As far as I know GLKVM software is still new(?), but I wonder if these settings will be implemented in the future or if there is some workaround to configure in the terminal? Thanks!

Remote voice input is already on our work list.
I have also added the mouse movement speed setting to the requirements.
The only problem now is that we have received too many user demands in the past two days. After the holiday, we will add these demands to the version and discuss them with the users.

mouse scrolling is currently unusable. So it would be really good to have it included in the next update.

In my tests the scroll wheel worked, what model of mouse do you have and can you provide a link?

I have exactly the same issue with the web interface.
I use a linux desktop and a Logitech MX Master 3. I also tried various other mice.
Mouse scroll with the mouse wheel is unusable. For example, the typical wheel settings is a few lines up/down (3-5). I see 20+ lines up/down for each "click" on the wheel.

I use the v1.2.2 release 1 firmware.

Can you provide a link to purchase the mouse?

Scrolling speed, direction and other adjustments will be added on 1.3.0

Great news! Looking forward to the update. Thank you!

I can confirm, I have the same issue with Apple Magic Trackpad. Looking forward for the update

There's a scaling issue with the mouse, the farther you move the mouse the bigger the discrepancy is. There is a similar issue with JetKVM.

This may be caused by a resolution mismatch. You can try setting a different resolution to correct it.

Thanks @robotluo but that doesn't make any difference the problem still persists

We have had similar issues on NVR devices, maybe the relative mouse in version 1.3 can solve some problems

Thanks @robotluo - yes this is with an NVR device (it's an appliance but Linux based unfortunately I can't give you versions of the any of the Linux system files), I haven't tried it on other devices. Hopefully V1.3 fixes this

I just installed the 1.3.0 beta for the mouse adjustments and it works perfectly! I will provide any feedback to the beta if needed. Thanks!

Edit: almost perfect. Scroll direction setting is incorrect, at least on MacOS.

Here is what happens for all options when selected:
Standard: Swiping down, scrolls down and swiping left, scrolls right
Vertical invert: Inverts both vertical and horizontal
Horizontal invert: neither, stays the same as standard
Both: same as vertical invert

Thank you for sharing beta software.
I tried relative mouse mode. The mouse pointer frequently jumps to corner when I moved mouse faster.
It seems accelaration of mouse is doubled by both of remote and server.

I would LOVE to test it, but I need to know when 1.3 is planned for release. I would like to have as little time to a beta as possible for various reason.

V1.3.0 is released as stable today.

This issue on relative mouse mode does not happen if I tried via web browser (edge on WIndows11). It happens only on GLKVM (1.1.0).

I attach short video which describes behavior of mouse. OBS window is going to drag & drop by mouse, but it jumps to up-left or up-right corner.
