GL-SFT1200 Opal 4.x annoying problem

I have been using/testing the 4.x firmware way since it was in development and this same bug is not fixed.
The problem is that the repeater wifi keeps on disconnecting from my wifi and never connecting again. I will have to login to the router and click on connect repeater manually for it to connect. But after some hours, it disconnects again.
This makes it unusable!
Can somebody please look into this as this has been the case since months!

Thanks,
Marwan

May you share the log files?

My log attached,
thanks
log.zip (5.5 KB)

How far away is the WLAN you are connecting to?
2.4 GHz or 5 GHz? Which channels?

Does the main router display any messages that could be helpful?

thank you for your reply.

The router is very close… a few meters away.
It is a 2.4GHZ wifi.
Channel 9
802.11b/g/n mixed
bandwidth Auto
control sideband: upper

No logs enabled on the main router.

Update
Here is a relevant long after it stopped connecting to my router:

Last error seems WRONG_KEY! whereas i did not change anything neither on opal nor on my router!
If i connect manually again (without entering the key) it works!

Appreciate your support

I believe you get that response if the signal drops out when entering the key.

Monitor the connection and wait for signal outages.

But the router is very close… only a few meters away with excellent signal

Anyone can help?
Even a reboot does not solve it… I have to connect it manually for it to be fixed.
This is making the router useless!!

Appreciate any help

Are any of your other devices having issues with your main Wi-Fi? Just trying to eliminate an issue with the source as well.

Thank you for your reply.
No, other devices dot not have any issues with the main wifi.

Are you using WPA-2 or WPA-3? Try the former if the latter.

Repeater Mode on 4.x has a lot of bugs which make depending on it problematic.
