GL-X2000 Repeater Issues

I have a GL.iNet Spitz Plus (GL-X2000) which I am using in Wi-Fi Repeater mode in my camper van.

I am having regular issues when connecting to campsite provided wi-fi. Connectivity is difficult to establish and when I do get it connected the connection drops after a short time. Then it's not possible to re establish the connection.

I can always connect to the site wi-fi directly from my iPhone.

This is definitely not a sign strength issue.

When the router disconnects it retries the connection but never reconnects.

I can't see anything meaningful in the logs (not easy to read).

FYI the site wi-fi does have a portal page which I am sometimes able to reach. But when the connection is not working I don't even get a connection confirmed in the router web page (so don't even get to the portal page prompt).

If you have already gone through the guide, please let us know which troubleshooting steps you have attempted and what firmware version you are using.

If it is not the latest version, please try to upgrade to it.
