My connection is extremely unstable on latest firmware, on IP change I completely lose the connection and the Spitz AX is extremely slow to reconnect.
Also, Scheduled Tasks (reboot and led program) don’t work anymore.

So, after further testing I can safely say that this latest firmware is completely broken for me.

First, as I said in the title the modem is unable to reconnect on IP change (every 24 hours for me).
This issue was present while I was beta-testing the device and was resolved with a firmware update: LINK but now the problem is back.
During disconnection I tried the following commands:

On top of that, even my primary connection from WAN is not working when the cellular disconnects.
Finally, Scheduled tasks are not working on latest firmware for me.
I tried to revert to the previous stable firmware (4.0-release10305-0707) and everything is working fine again.

Hi lizh,
executing logread | grep regain has an empty response.
I usually had those messages on my log with previous firmware (modem ip different, now regain ip …), but I never had one on latest firmware when my IP change…

Thanks for the update but using the term “latest firmware” can be vague. For example, did you mean latest “stable” firmware or latest “beta” firmware. It is always best to state the actual firmware version in these situations.

Yeah, but I marked as a Solution the post from lizh wich invited me to try the latest beta (4.0-release10403) so I tought that it was quite clear.

I agree that in this situation at this time it is clear. But, in two weeks someone may stumble upon this thread and the firmware that shows up when Liz’s link is clicked could be a different firmware version.
